Noblins and Ninja

Once again, some new figures uploaded.

In the Imperial folder we have another unit of Assault Terminators -this time a unit with Thunder hammers. [G2:14218 class=g2image_centered]

Then in the General folder we have one of Heresy's rather nice Cyclops[G2:14240 class=g2image_centered]

In the Cutthroats we have a Gnoblar[G2:14223 class=g2image_centered]

and some Ninja [G2:14237 class=g2image_centered]

And, a bit of a novelty, an Orc's Nest figure [G2:14225 class=g2image_centered]

However, pride of place must go to the Noblin from the recently relaunched Spyglass.[G2:14246 class=g2image_centered]

This little guy arrived only last night and is already painted, although I might try to take a better picture

Excellent work, Phil :D

They're all really nice, but special mention goes out to the Noblin - he looks great. There is something about him that makes him look like an evil henchman from a Victorian Science Fiction plot, or perhaps from one of these uber-fantasy novels :) Very nice, anyway :)

And the ninjas are fantastic. I've got a few of these, but I've not yet found the sculpts inspiring enough to do anything with. When I come across them next, I'm sure I'll come back to your album to find some inspiration!

And the Gnoblar!! Very nice :) Which set is he from? I might have to find one to be a coach for my Ogre BB team!

His heavy coat gave him a sort of Gestapo look hence the dark colours.

The ninja proved to be extremely quick to paint. Just paint them in Nato Black, do the flesh (I use GW Bronzed flesh for Japanese type figures). Then tidy up, highlight and detail. Nato Black is a really useful colour for things like fur or cloth that are called black but are not really true black.

Del-boy the Gnoblar is from the Gnoblar trappers blister pack -you may have to go to the shop to make sure he is in the pack you buy.
